Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) assays are increasingly used to detect bacterial DNA in clinical samples. A number of PCR assays have been developed for B. pseudomallei and used to provide diagnosis of melioidosis.

 

Here we provided the standard of procedure (SOP) for TTS1 real-time PCR to detect Burkholderia pseudomallei from Menzies School of Public Health.
